Ajwa Power Mix (Breakfast Topping)
A nutritious power mix made with Ajwa dates, nuts, and seeds. Perfect for adding to your daily breakfast.
Ingredients
- Ajwa dates (pitted)
- Almonds
- Hazelnuts
- Sesame seeds
- Fennel seed
- Pumpkin seeds
- Olive oil (extra virgin)
- Heather honey
Preparation
- De-pit the Ajwa dates.
- Immediately roll each Ajwa date into a small ball.
- Chop the almonds and hazelnuts coarsely.
- Mix the nuts with the sesame seeds, fennel seeds and pumpkin seeds.
- Add a dash of olive oil and a spoonful of heather honey and mix well.
- Add the Ajwa balls to the mix and mix gently so that they remain intact.
Usage
- Delicious with yoghurt, cottage cheese or oatmeal
- Perfect as a topping over granola or breakfast bowls
- Also delicious in smoothies
