Ajwa Power Mix (Breakfast Topping)

A nutritious power mix made with Ajwa dates, nuts, and seeds. Perfect for adding to your daily breakfast.

Ingredients

  • Ajwa dates (pitted)
  • Almonds
  • Hazelnuts
  • Sesame seeds
  • Fennel seed
  • Pumpkin seeds
  • Olive oil (extra virgin)
  • Heather honey

Preparation

  1. De-pit the Ajwa dates.
  2. Immediately roll each Ajwa date into a small ball.
  3. Chop the almonds and hazelnuts coarsely.
  4. Mix the nuts with the sesame seeds, fennel seeds and pumpkin seeds.
  5. Add a dash of olive oil and a spoonful of heather honey and mix well.
  6. Add the Ajwa balls to the mix and mix gently so that they remain intact.

Usage

  • Delicious with yoghurt, cottage cheese or oatmeal
  • Perfect as a topping over granola or breakfast bowls
  • Also delicious in smoothies


Storage tip

Store covered in the refrigerator to preserve flavor and texture.
