Ajwa Chocolate Delights

Ingredients

  • Ajwa dates
  • Almond paste (100% almond)
  • Dark chocolate (min. 70% cocoa)
  • Finely chopped pistachio


Preparation

  1. Carefully pit the Ajwa dates without tearing them.
  2. Fill each date with a small amount of almond paste.
  3. Melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie.
  4. Dip the filled dates completely into the melted chocolate.
  5. Sprinkle immediately with finely chopped pistachios.
  6. Let the dates harden on baking paper (room temperature or briefly in the refrigerator).

Serving suggestion

Serve with coffee or tea, or as a luxurious after-dinner snack.
