Ajwa Chocolate Delights
Ingredients
- Ajwa dates
- Almond paste (100% almond)
- Dark chocolate (min. 70% cocoa)
- Finely chopped pistachio
Preparation
- Carefully pit the Ajwa dates without tearing them.
- Fill each date with a small amount of almond paste.
- Melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie.
- Dip the filled dates completely into the melted chocolate.
- Sprinkle immediately with finely chopped pistachios.
- Let the dates harden on baking paper (room temperature or briefly in the refrigerator).
Serving suggestion
Serve with coffee or tea, or as a luxurious after-dinner snack.
